Washoe Elder Portraits Display — June 17, Douglas County Historical Society, 1477 Highway 395, Gardnerville. Nancy Raven’s portraits of Washoe Elders from Carson City, Dresslerville and Stewart will be displayed through June 24. An opening reception will be from noon to 3 p.m. at the Historical Society. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekends and during special events. For information, call 775-782-2555.
